Exeter YMCA’s Supported Housing provides both accommodation and support to homeless young people from across Devon. Our aim is to help our residents to achieve their goals and tackle any issues they may be struggling with. Each resident has a designated ‘Link Worker’ who works alongside them helping them create a plan for the way forward and reflect on the successes they achieve. Alongside Link Workers each young person has access to counselling, training, help with employment, workshops and much more. We help each young person plan their next move in terms of accommodation as part of their support. This could be through our own “move on” accommodation or through accessing other accommodation.
